One internet source contradicting a print source, is hardly conclusive. More research is needed. A better source, would be from persons named in the 1961 birth announcement column originally printed in the Honolulu Advertiser (that also listed Obama). If one other 1961 birth was assisted by West, it indicates that he was still practicing (possibly as a privately hired obstetrician).
