Yep, a bunch of poppycock. There were scads of people there. Three blocks? The march went on forever! It was very uplifting to see. I wish so much I could have been there.

My cable company, comcast, pulled my ewtn channel from the basic cable lineup and put it in an expanded cable lineup that would cost an additional fee to purchase. I cannot afford it right now, so details would be great on the march. I have never missed watching one til this year and you know how the msm covers it. pictures posted would be great as well. Thank you freepers!

"The rally stretched for about three blocks on the Mall"

IMO, this statement is deceptive. The RALLY before the March probably did stretch for about three blocks - and the blocks in Washington, DC are quite long. I suspect the crowd of people throughout those three blocks stood close together, which indicates that many more people attended than the AP writer implies.

I wasn't there this year but have attended in previous years, and I can tell you that if the RALLY crowd stretched for three blocks, there were a lot of people marching once the rally ended and the marching to the USSC began.

This is simply AP word-smithing intended to discourage readers and pro-life people across the country who weren't present. Don't let him trick you!
