The crowd was incredibly dense ... some years, there are big gaps between groups.
This year ... steady, solid stream of people.

There WAS NO TRASH left after the pro-LIFE march!!!! The portajohns left over from the inauguration were still there, and utterly foul - I had to check three before I found one I was willing to use, and I've lived with outhouses. I suppose it couldn't be helped but that was disgusting.

I think I can say with assurance that there were more there than last year or the year before. The Archidocese of NY alone sent at least 50% more than last year.
We frequently heard "this is my first March" and "it seems really important to go" this year.
And the more they ignore us, the more we get too big to ignore.

Oh wait. There WAS NO TRASH left after the pro-LIFE march!!!!The streets were littered with flyers that were being handed out at the march. Apparently, there are some groups that try recruiting for their particular spin on the cause and don't care about making a mess. One group's in particular were most noticeable.
