I wonder how long the media will stay in this love affair when he stops returning their calls because they want a commitment. He seems like a man that does not like to be criticized. Word is that reporters have stopped raising their hands in press conferences, asking to be recognized.
The policy now is pre-selected questions from pre-selected questioners.
The media has not gone public with any complaint about this kind of treatment.
They made him. They can't afford to cross him.

Newspapers are already suffering mightily—a key reason here is that too often they have fluff or slanted news. If the reporters can’t give the public what they want, they will fail. Unless, of course, Obama gives ‘em a bailout too.
