Maybe there is room for the former inmates to stay at the White House and any overflow can be taken up by Senate and House majority’s homes.

Guantanamo closed?

Sure. In about the same time frame GW would have closed it. This is Obama/Soetoro at his best/worst. He promised to close Gitmo during his campaign, so close it he will, by golly!

But in his own sweet time. I predict it will take about 18 months, maybe longer. Meanwhile, he gets the credit and the adulation of all ObamaNation. Also meanwhile, he will conduct a world-wide search to find countries who will take these Islamic PsOS ... and guess what ... we'll find that no one wants them. Surprise... Surprise. "Heh-heh, jes have to keep Gitmo open a few more weeks." Repeat ad inf.

Ditto "Withdrawal from Iraq." Yup. We will withdraw from Iraq. O, we may still keep 15-20,000 troops there in our new Iraqi bases ... just as GW planned. But the Kenyan Chap will doubtless intone that "Blessed are the Peacemakers: viz Him.

Of course, we will immediately deploy those troopers to Afghanistan, where the Hero of Kosovo, Dick Holbrooke, is to to serve as Ambassador, doubtless to do for al-qaida what he did for the KLA.
