So, you have two choices:

1) Start your miniature engine hobby

2) Hang out in Amy's Potpourri thread for 8 years

8 years? "The Bloody Hell you say"

5 years from now someone will be prying the muskets from our cold dead hands.

4 years is more like it and I already have a hobby! It involves a frozen martini glass, 2 oz of chilled “Tino’s” vodka and 2 blue cheese stuffed olives.

That is friggin' awesome! I would dearly love to own one of those, but I'd hate to think what it might cost :(
I'm learning engine repair as I go along. I have a 1954 Oldsmobile 88 that I'm restoring --

I did the paint job last year (first time at that - boy was THAT fun) and I'm now in the process of getting the heads rebuilt. I'll be doing the valves and guides myself, but a machine shop is going to hot tank the heads for me, since there was a tremendous amount of gunk causing blocked passages.

We do loves our cars - oh yes we do!

I prefer my full size 477 Hemi and 440 sixpack engines....besides, I get to burn lots of fuel and create lage amounts of burned rubber and smoke on Earth Day.....

No thanks.
I'll be getting more guitar playing in. (And it'll be FOUR years, not eight)

And those 'gun' thingy's you mentioned? I *think* I lost all of mine, around 2005. Woke up one day and I just couldn't find 'em. And all the dang ammo went *poof* too. (musta been Martians)
