She’s never had to work for a damn thing in her entire spoiled privileged life

I feel sorry for her. Her life has never offered the opportunity to be "normal". Think about it. Would you expect her not to be screwed up on so many levels?

I'm glad to be no one.

Oh, great, now we’ll have to endure endless liberal whining about how “no one of quality wants to serve because of negativity.”

I always thought she figured she’d like it for a couple of years,as long as she didn’t have to campaign or anything like that. And after the two years she would just hand it off to one of her many cousins or something. ,,,But when it looked like this thing was going to take some actual work, she bowed out!

You might be on to something. The Cuomos are the Clintons’ enemies.

And the Cuomos hate Kerry Kennedy, the 7th child of RFK's supersized litter. She married Andrew Cuomo in a marriage regarded as a blending of Democratic dynasties, but she achieved the rare accomplishment of a Kennedy FEMALE being accused of adultery. Kerry and Andrew had 3 daughters, and then she cuckolded him with a married guy. Kerry got a divorce, but the married guy went back to his very rich wife.

That sounds plausible, especially if they have a loophole for the residency requirement. Surely she has her name on some Massachusetts property.

I am not ready to cheer about this. Even though, Heaven knows, we don’t need another Kennedy in politics, or the Senate. But with the Democrats, things are never as they appear - easy. There’s something else going on, some other appointment or something covert. No one withdraws like, ya know, she (supposedly) did, from an almost certain position. I smell a lot of rotten fish in a barrel around this situation.

She's a kennedy: Massachusetts is hers.

Hmmmm... I shoulda thought of that. When Teddy passes, perhaps "Cadillac Deval" Patrick can appoint her instead... what are the Mass. residency requirements if the Gov appoints a replacement? Can he appoint a non-resident?

And last I recall, the Mass law was that if a Senator dies, there must be a special election. It was changed to that when the Republicans were holding the Gov's office. Now that Cadillac is in there, they want the Gov to appoint whoever he/they (Dems) wish. So there was talk of a new bill to be passed, though I don't know if they ever passed it.
