They will sue for illegal detention and will demand millions for pain and suffering. Then their lawyers will demand to put the confidential informants on the stand. Then they will probably walk.
Where to? Maybe they will get an apartment in your neighborhood. Maybe they make great brownies. Maybe they will get a tax refund.
