“As a teacher who watched the ceremony with my 6th grade students, I had to tell them what song Aretha Franklin was singing she butchered it so much”.

...my 6th grade daughters teacher and her principle got an earfull from me regarding showing this horrendous event in school. Neither 2001 nor 2005 inaugurations were televised in the school. No reason for this to be. Nothing positive will come of this clown as POTUS. May as well have shown Chavez on his 1st day. Historic? Yes. Historic in that we’ve elected a Marxist to destroy Capitalism and basic freedoms. A guy who views the Constitution as something that needs to be “over-hauled” and “re-written”. Thumbs his nose at the military. Is pro-abortion and pro-infanticide and much, much...less. Showing “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” would’ve be more educational and less scary.

This nation is now controlled by socialists, and their propagandists in the press have done such a masterful job that even the GOP refuses to publicize the fact.

Pathetic and irreversible.

I would have shown it. Then again, I would show every inauguration since students need to see the history and what is happening.
