New Mexico's former U.S. attorney, David Iglesias, has a new job prosecuting suspected terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Iglesias says he's been hired as a prosecutor in the Office of Military Commissions and has been reactivated in the Navy as a captain. He is based in Washington, but says he'll make frequent trips to Cuba.
Iglesias says the job is the most important work he's done in his 25 years as a lawyer

What possible difference could there be in incarcerating them at Guantanamo or at Pendleton? Sounds like they want to move them just to move them.
Lets move em to Clovis ....its hot in the summer and the wind blows out there..... we can bring in some potted palms,make it look like a beach.
Iglesias can commute easier, make a few book tours
This guy is the one who was fired by Bush admin after the 04 election. He was soft on corruption in NM so Bush had him replaced. Of course the messiah figures since Bush fired him ,he will be perfect to try the terrorists at GITMO..
