It's the same Oval Office. The same desk. Even the same curtains. But President Obama has already made one major change: Go through eight years of White House photos, and you won't find one of former President Bush in the Oval Office without his jacket on.

While I do not disagree with the sentiment you express, i’d hardly call that a Major Bush Rule.
That is a scary f-ing picture.
I, for one, can’t wait until he rolls out “Wacky Tie Wednesday” or a casual Friday where he shows up in jeans or Bermuda shorts and sandals.
Is he farting?
Whatever else can be said of Bush’s RINO tendencies, he did bring back class and dignity to the White House after the Clinton years.
I’ve noticed that the jacket and tie is becoming less common, at least away from the big cities. While I understand the issue of respect for the Oval Office, personally I don’t care if he doesn’t wear a suit jacket.
I’m far more concerned with what he does in the Oval Office. Things like raising taxes, closing Gitmo, legalizing abortion on demand, nationalizing health care, just to name a few things.
Big whoop.
He took off his jacket. He needed his bib and booster seat tho.
No one came into the Reagan Oval Office without a jacket on.
Find something worth getting your nose out of joint over.
Couldn’t care less.
Amen to that.
I can hardly imagine the fumigation and carpet replacement that will be needed after Zero’s four years.
This is, purely, a ‘political thing’. The ‘messiah’ is trying to tell his worshipers that “We got some work to do ‘round here”. Hence the ‘caszh’ attire (which is tacky as hell). Guess he was sending the same message with that $100,000 cap on White House staff. It’s all ‘smoke and mirrors’ and ALL ABOUT appearance, folks.
No respect for the office I see? What a putz.
