It was winnable until the October Bailout fiasco with Pres. Bush being the face of it. That was perceived as the financial 9/11, and I don’t think anyone could have won at that point. Not to say McCain was great, he wasn’t, but in reality we were doomed the day the collapse happened.

McCain's daughter was on Fox & Friends this morn. The subject turned to Palin and how the daughter stated how, during the campaign, she admired Sarah. When asked if she still felt that way she blew the question off by replying that she was asked that all the time and tired of it. Kilmeade pressed on, saying something along the lines of 'but you like Kid Rock and Palin also did' (I know, an idiotic thing to bring up but hey, it's Kilmeade after all!) The McCain daughter still refused to say if she still admired Palin and made some flippant remark about Kid Rock and at that point Kilmeade relented.

Why, if she still admired Sarah Palin, wouldn't she have just said so? (This question is rhetorical as we all know the answer)
