During the 2008 campaign, there were heated exchanges between the two over domestic and foreign policy that were sometimes personal in nature.Oh yeah, right! The only thing John got heated about was when somebody on his staff actually stepped out of line & fired a shot at Obama that actually hit the mark.

I can’t help but believe they WERE in a scheme to get O elected! I mean, the “personal attacks” were 1) hardly personal (aren’t personal attacks like “he’s got big ears” or “he’s a bed wetter”?) and 2) they were hardly classified as attacks!!! I mean, McCain put on one of the weakest campaigns; next to Doles! I think we’ve been played big time.

could this be Obama’s way of thanking McCain for nor airing all the dirt that stayed just below the surface during the campaign??

I know that this is off topic, but I do not see a thread on this unbelievable interview this morning on Fox and Friends! Did anyone see the Megan McCain interview?? When asked about Gov. Palin, she refused to comment! I am appalled!! When Gretchen asked her why she would not comment, she just said she is looking at the future, not the past. McCain, an honorable man??? Hell, no—Naval Academy or not, he and is family are a disgrace. I am ashamed that I voted for him.

I understand that for a political bribe of 1 million or more to Obama that you get to spend the night in the Lincoln (excuse me, I mean the Obama) bedroom and Michelle will provide “room” service!

And, I wonder what the chances of McCain being defeated in the next Republican primary are. He isn’t nearly as popular in his home state as most long-term incumbents are.
