It sounded to me like Obama knew Roberts said it wrong and paused to give Roberts a chance to correct himself. After an awkward moment he decided just to go with “repeat after me”. Trivial.

Again instead of doing the right thing he decides, makes a conscious decision, to look at the situation and do the wrong thing. Situational ethics.

So what exactly would be right? Stop and say, “Excuse me Justice Roberts, I believe you said that incorrectly. It's supposed to be “faithfully execute”, and you said “execute faithfully”. I know both mean exactly the same thing, but let's int erupt this with the whole world watching and do it over eo I you look like an idiot.”

Yaah, that would have been the right thing to do. And nobody on FR would be critical of Obama if he did, right?
