The Harvard lawyer also got the "44" part wrong when he said that 44 people have taken that oath. Grover Cleveland is marked down in the history books for two administrations, and is referred to as the 22nd AND the 24th President, but nevertheless, he still was only one man.
So as of yesterday, only 42 men have taken the oath. And as of today, the number is 43 (if you count different "versions" of the oath, such as the one today).
