"You forgot the 20th Amendment, Section 1. Power used to transfer at the oath. Now it transfers at noon."

Power Transfers to whomever takes the Oath, it doesn't override Section 2 of the Constitution it just sets the time and clarifies who is eligible to take the oath.

Actually, that’s precisely what amendments do. They override existing parts of the constitution. That’s what they’re there for.

As I said, Obama could have flipped everyone the bird and he’d still be president. And America wouldn’t had to suffer through another one of his overrated speeches, too.
