"Well, again, we're wondering here whether or not Barack Obama in fact is the president of the United States," Chris Wallace told Fox News viewers, well over an hour after Obama had taken the oath of office today.
Fox News replayed the swearing-in moment when President Obama and Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. each bobbled the words to the constitutional oath. "They had a kind of garbled oath," Wallace said.
"It's just conceivable that this will end up going to the courts," Wallace speculated.

As much as I hate to defend this guy, it didn’t help that Roberts flubbed it first, he screwed up and then Obama just started to repeat what Roberts had mistakenly said.
Too funny..............and in more ways than one!
Even though the court hasn't accepted a case, Roberts has seen enough info to know or have significant doubt about OB being qualified for office.
The mind plays funny tricks on behavior when you try to suppress information.
I’m very disappointed in Chief Justice Roberts — the formula is specifically prescribed by the Constitution. He shouldn’t have screwed this up. The oath is the only important thing about the Inauguration — the rest is fluff.
I am laughing so hard that it is almost impossible for me to type this reply to your GREAT post!!!
He took about 8 days to comment on Gaza and even then didn’t really say much. I’m worried about our national security under this lefty. The oath is ceremonial and this will go nowhere of course. I’m hoping that all of these Obamites with great expectations keep those expectations... boy are they in for a surprise!!
I just read some of the comments on that site. Chris Wallace made a short and passing comment about the flubbed oath and these people are jumping all over him (Wallace) for even mentioning it. The Internet has proven to me that there are far too many liberal and uneducated idiots out there.
I think there’s more to Emperor Hussein’s passport situation than there is to the BC issue. It will be hard to uncover a smoking gun on that one because, well, this is Kenya we’re talking about. Even if they had the attending physician step forward, no one here would believe him. Or, the media would do whatever was necessary to destroy his reputation and brand him a liar.
We know he lived in Indonesia, and it’s very plausible he carried an Indonesian passport at some point in his life. Unfortunately, has likely been destroyed by now.
Wallace has really reached on this one.
Obama, the constitutional scholar, could have said the correct oath and not repeated the incorrect oath. It's interesting that this even shows his character. Even when he knows what the right course of action is, he'll forgo right for pleasing people.
Obama interrupted Justice Roberts which started the whole screw-up. I think Roberts was trying to help Obama along and had to repeat himself since Obama obviously isn’t competent enough to say more than three words by memory without a teleprompter. So it was Obama who caused the screw-up.
well why not. makes as much sense as anything else.
So Obama was too stupid or scared to do the right thing and instead repeated something in error? Not a good sign.

“Wallace has really reached on this one.”
Did you watch that segment where Wallace mentioned the flubbing of the oath, etc.? He didn’t make a big deal out of it at all. He made a couple of comments about it and that was it.
If he was really “reaching”, he’d have talked more about it, IMO.
Obama screwed up the beginning but Roberts incorrectly cited the oath after that. I think Obama threw him off his stride, but they were clearly nervous.
Roberts screwed up, not Obama. If you ain’t got a memory, get a pencil...
Oh wow, Chris Wallace is going to get a lot of flack from what he said!
This has been known since noon;
Justice Roberts misspoke the oath causing O to flub it too.
Correct. Roberts said the words in the incorrect order which probably messed up The One since he was expecting to hear something a little different.
Funny watching it but beyond that it means nothing, IMHO...
