You make a valid point about the media - and “Katie” Couric would be there with bells on with little bottles to catch the “special” Obama drool, seal it and hang the little bottles on solid gold chains and gift them to “Charlie”, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Andrea Mitchell, Babawawawa, and others who were in the tank for the Obamassiah all during his interminable campaign. - My husband remarked tonight that he would have been fine with the blacks having their day in the sun if they’d nominated someone like Alan Keyes instead of such a radical leftist as Obama. I wish people would notice that all this mess hit in earnest after the Democrats had control for just a few short months. Up until then, things were pretty good; but Nancy and crew were only too happy to trash and ruin this country just to get rid of “Bush”. IF “Bush” had performed like Obama did today, he would have been rode out of town on a rail. Oh, I forgot, that’s already happened, only “Bush” did nothing to deserve it except allow the Democrats to act like the juveniles they are.
Regrettably, I know you are right. Obama will get the biggest free pass and the loosest honeymoon period in history. There WILL come a day when criticism will be tolerated, but that day is a long way off (1 year plus, IMO) because of the sheer momentum of this mania. And any wacko anything he does or Pelosi/Reid does will still be in the ‘experimental’ phase a year or even 2 years from now. Ergo: No call of “failure” is possible: it will be about making great progress [on our leader’s 5-year plan] We’ll be “giving his ideas time to work” all the way to hell.
