Doctors are blaming fatigue for the seizure that Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, ill with a brain tumor, suffered during a post-inauguration luncheon for President Barack Obama.

Dr. Edward Aulisi, Washington Hospital Center's neurosurgery chairman, says Kennedy is awake, talking with family and friends and feeling well.

Cancer is kind of a personal thing. I think a lot of people try to put the best foot forward with this. Its a horrible disease, torturous really.

I think many will make the connection between the seizure and the disease. He’s got a tough road ahead.

I had a very close friend die of brain cancer that metastasized to her lungs. It was a horrible last couple of months for her. I find Ted Kennedy a reprehensible human being, but I pray his end is peace full. I'll leave it to the all mighty to do the judging.

Poor Fat Teddy.

I am waiting for the AP story stating that this sad sack of * was simply overcome by emotion.

Here I am on a bad news day, hoping to read that “Ted” has drowned in his own Scotch flavored vomitus. Not quite the hero’s death expected of a Kennedy.

As a Christian, I feel conflicted with these sentiments, as I understand that vengeance is a pleasure reserved for the Lord.

OK then. I hope Ted gets better.

he should stop playing senator and go home and sit in front of the fire in his rocking chair.....

I have no pity for someone doing something just to have his power binge continue......

Actually, for a moment there, I wondered if he was going to upstage Obama by expiring right after his swearing in.

It would be just as well that “The Liberal Lion” lives for a decent interval rather than dying soon after, with his last breath imploring the nation to love, honor and obey Barry O.

BINGO

That’s the main reason he gets not one iota of sympathy from me.

I’ll never forget the hatred I felt for him as he barely managed to stand a while back, and grin as he cast his vote for some sort of socialized health care. Anyone with a normal outlook would be resigned and with family, he stays simply because he knows it annoys his enemies and conservatives. Of course, any normal person would also be dead by now with the health care he would force upon them....his millions can afford the best.

I was in the doctor’s office yesterday and the waiting room had a TV. CNN was on, OF COURSE, and they were showing Teddy in a wheelchair. An elderly black couple were sitting next to me and they were talking, she said, “Oh, he’s a fighter, he’s a fighter, he can beat this cancer.” I was so tempted to remind her that he didn’t have much fight in him when his girlfriend was drowning.
