The final nail was McCain’s inane stopping of the debate in order to saddle Americans with billions in debt... it was free fall from there. I said it then and I'll say it till I die, McCain would have won if he fought the bailout. The Pubs were looking for leadership and he didn't have the vision to see through all the crap.
