I found the same to be true here in Chicago. Every other bar and pub seems to be staffed by illegal Irish. Mind you, some of gals are cute as can be but they’re always moaning about how “unequal” things are here. I informed one young Irishman, less than half my age, that there wasn’t anything forcing him to be here so he could always return to Eire if he didn’t like Chicago or the US.
When the kid wanted to start a fight, my Vietnam vet friend said, “I’m calling ICE right now.” That cooled his jets for a while.
The guy was eventually fired after he put the moves on an owner’s 15 year-old daughter. What a dumb-ass.

This is so confusing. If I oppose ILLEGAL aliens who are other than European I'm a racist. But I also oppose Europeans coming here ILLEGALLY and.. I'm not racist?
I swear that it was just a few years ago when New York cracked down on ILLEGAL aliens getting drivers licenses and many Irish left. Even the Irish government asked Washington to do something to enable them to stay here -- a BIG BIG no-no in my book. Butt out of our internal affairs I don't care where you're from.

In the American version of the English language, you clearly conveyed the notion that Irish illegals (being the assimilating kind) are OK, but unassimiliating illegals (the Mexicans) are not OK.
