“The crowd thundered, “Amen!”

What would you expect at a left wing picnic such as this Inauguaration. The people there genuinely believe that the only problem with America is white people.

Iheard that.
I was the only person who saw anything wrong with it. Everyone else was cool with the speech, even my Asian friends who would usually be screaming with outrage if you called them “yellow”.

Why do liberals refuse to recognize anti-causcasian racism?

I think I’ll break here and get my racial supper in the oven.

We're celebrating over dinner tonight. Fried chicken, grits, greens, corn, and watermelon.

Tomorrow, it will be back to Obamanomics meals: thin gruel twice a day.

Food tip: With the new soy inks, and hemp paper, one can a make a healthful and tasty dish from shredded bills topped with library paste that has a couple of drops of yellow food coloring in it to make it resemble mac & cheese!

Wow. By looking at the numbers I guess the Reverend was correct. I just can't believe that evil white people put that many poor black people in jail. I HOPE we can CHANGE and do what is right in the future.

I’m nor positive that they genuinely believe it, but we sure make a convenient scapegoat, even after years of AA and quotas, for their failure. I’m still chapped over learning that in a Colorado town, the top thirteen high scores on a test for promotion of firefighters were by white men, who were then al passed over for reasons of “diversity”. And I know that kind of thing goes on every day. When will someone have the courage to say the words and speak the truth, that even after all the years of AA, quotas, and welfare, American blacks in general are worse off, not better, and after all that, it can’t be the fault of whites?

This is the attitude among many blacks unfortunately. This is a sad day for non-racists of all colors.

Whether we like Obammy or not, his inauguration was a historic occasion, and to have it ruined by an overtly racist comment is an outrage.

I would say the event was marred by the hateful reception of President Bush - wouldn’t you? Regarding the speaker, obama’s team had to know what they were getting. If they didn’t they should have.
It’s embarrassing all the way around.

Note one of the liberal comments about Michelle Malkin: “This is what happens when you send a yellow woman to do a white man’s job.” That may not be verbatim, but it’s close. There’s not real definition of racism, bigotry, meanness, or hatrid for them. It’s just whatever they say it is.

“I would say the event was marred by the hateful reception of President Bush -”

Its not the same. There will always be loudmouthed goons in the audience and you can’t do anything about them. That didn’t surprise me. Blatant racism FROM THE PODIUM, from an INVITED speaker. That was unheard of and outrageous.

Racism still is a money maker ... have to keep it alive ..

"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs." - Booker T Washington (1911)

I agree it’s outrageous and unacceptable, and I do see your point. All in all, not a great way to BHO to start off.

It was gold, and it was sparkly. So, while it may not have technically been lame, it was close enough.

Do Asians appreciate being described as “ yellow “ ?
And Native Americans as “ red men “ ?
St John’s University came under pressure and changed their nick from Redmen to Red Storm out of respect for Native Americans .
It was likewise jarring to hear white people dissed as part of Obama’s official Inaugural ceremony.

I’ve seen some closer shots that look like it was some kind of brocade with sparkly inserts. In any event, not classy, and not particularly appropriate for daytime wear.
