My husband said much the same thing when Obama got the nomination. He said that, contrary to the media's view of this, race relations will become much worse.
Even the 10 year old daughter has gotten into the “race” discussion twice in a few days.
“First African-American president — better be good!”
and:
during Obama’s discussion with the child about equality and justice for all, etc., she asked him: “So how’s that workin’ out for us?”
Hmmm........... a real smart-aleck at 10 — hope she doesn’t make it past four years in White House. Geesh!!!!
