I wonder if anyone has made the point that he took the oath with the Lincoln Bible because unlike GW, or even Clinton, he didn’t have a family Bible. He came from a family of atheists.
I don’t have a family Bible, and my family has been here since before the American revolution.
We just have our own personal Bibles, and mine was so tattered that I had to go buy a new one a few months ago.
