Yes, you can throw cocoa beans into the wort and get a hint of chocolate in the brew.

You can brew a taste into beer out of just about anything. I won’t guarantee that taste, though.

hm, i’ll have to give that some thought. i tried beer once. didn’t like it. now if it tastes like chocolate...........

ROFL! I wouldn't either. Or you can do it like the Belgians do it and open the fermenting to whatever little bacteria land in it to do some of the fermenting....
