Beautiful morning! God Bless Texas!

Amen, and now would be a good time to re-read Col. Travis' message; no better time to remember The Alamo.

Texas may be take on greater importance than ever, in the next few years. As goes Texas, so goes the future of our Constitutional Republic, IMHO.

Here, an expat native of Texas, 5th generation Texan, is thinking of returning to the homeland.

The war between Conservatives and Collectivists has been raging there for a very, very long time.

Tell us, please, that there is still a Texas to redoubt to.

Well, the State Lege has already ejected the conservative speaker of the house, submitted bills for statewide smoking bans, higher taxes for union teachers, more toll roads of existing bond-funded roads....all sorts of things to make Texas a better Kalifornia.

Alamo may be a good reference point. But I'm afraid this time there will be no San Jacinto. THAT's the problem.

Indeed there is. Many flags have flown over this fair state but the independence mindedness, fortitude and generosity of it's people make me proud to call Texas my home. Welcome home.
