AHHHH gee I guess I missed the W H O L E thing...
My DH and my Dad and I drove to Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum where the Spruce Goose is located. The museum is near McMinnville, Oregon. Lots of old planes, space craft and tons of information.
The Spruce Goose was made by Howard Hughes and is a HUGE plane mostly made from wood. We drove to Salem, Oregon for dinner and then headed back home to Springfield, Oregon.
