Bush was POTUS, as well as the leader of the Republican Party for 8 years-he cozied up to Clintoon after the hatefest in the aftermath of the 2000 election. He played into the hands of the haters during Katrina-allowing them to frame the debate and blame him, even though it wasn’t true, but all the mouth-breathers fell for it hook line and sinker. As far as the war goes, he could have put the smack down on our home-grown traitors. He could have got out in front of the economic tsunami this summer and called out those responsible. He could have went after the media traitors.....
So we were safe for 8 years—guess what? that’s over.
President Bush will be judged years from now, by the facts that will become apparent when his records are declassified. I am content in my opinion.
Wallow in your dislike of Bush. I don't care anymore. President Bush and Laura are safe home in Texas, and I wish them nothing but the best.
