Please answer this question from the article:

...why...would anyone hire lawyers and expend millions of dollars to avoid producing a $12.50 birth certificate to show eligibility under the Constitution?

What are your sources that Obama spent millions of dollars on this? All campaigns have lawyers on retainer.
