I was lying then but I am telling the truth now

As others on this thread have said, this isn't just about lying. It is about his taking advantage of a young boy, who was vulnerable, and an intern, and years younger than himself.
If he had sex with this 17 year old it is, in fact, a CRIME, in case a county prosecutor cares to notice. This Adams is a pervert and ought to be prosecuted for rape of a minor.
I won't be holding my breath, however, for charges to be brought, or public outrage to run this pervert out of office in Portland OR.
