BUMP

Closed primaries are a MUST. The notion of an open primary is ridiculous on its face.

I’ll also add we have got to get better organized and more effective with PR. We have to go beyond preaching to the choir. The Left and the RINOs have so sullied the name Republican, and have lied so much about who’s to blame for problems. We really need to do alot more than just get true conservatives elected. I think their needs to be a groundswell against politicians. We need to present our candidates as anti-politicians, as Joe the Plumbers and as Sarah Palins, as statesmen/public servants and not political hacks. Most people are sick of politicians from either side. Obama did us all a favor by filling his administration with Clinton hacks as he gave us a means to expose his change as more of the same. I also think that the can do no wrong aura does not extend beyond him personally. He will get a big pass because he was first but that doesn’t mean that everything around him can’t be taken down and exposed as same-old same-old.

I agree. Preaching to the choir has gotten us no where. We have to become the Party of reform, real change and the return to the Constitution.

When we put up candidates that carry that message and we promote honesty, integrity, Law abiding, Citizen Legislators that do not want to spend their life in DC, we can make huge headway.

People do not trust politicians from the local levels and worse in DC.
