I’ve lived in Seattle since 1966.
I bought 13 acres in Kentucky just before the election.
Your comment is one of the reasons. Another is that I do not want to be anywhere NEAR an urban area when our economy and culture collapse.
Hope you stayed away from Louisville. It and Lexington are the most liberal cities here. We moved from Dearborn, MI to Louisville because my 87 yr old Mother is here. When we don’t have to worry about her anymore, we will head farther east.
