Finally, somebody posts a thread on this and gets the terminology correct. Sentences commuted, crimes not pardoned.
I suppose this means they’ll never work in law enforcement again, with the convictions still on their record.
But at least they’ll soon be home with their families.
And Bush Buddy Johnny Sutton doesn’t lose Prosecutor Points by having their convictions disappear. We were so worried about that. (Do I need the sarcasm tag?)

Sentence was commuted at the border guards request. They can now appeal the convictions. A pardon forgives a crime.
Honestly, if I were them, I would not want to work in law enforcement again. I, too, am happy they can be reunited with their families.
