Agreed. And the President is reported to “still believe they got a fair trial and it was a serious crime”. Hmm, I wonder when we CONSERVATIVES might have a presidential candidate???

Commutation is the best anyone could hope for in this case. It is almost unheard of to pardon someone who is currently serving a sentence.
