Hard to believe they were working on bioweapons in some camp hidden in the woods. I doubt it was a very sophisticated or secure lab.
Apparently the lab was not idiot-proof, of that we can be sure. ;’) The wackos who followed the self-proclaimed Mahdi and took over the Grand Mosque in 1979 believed that the waters of the Zamzam spring inside the courtyard would not only cure anything, but would supply everything they needed (IOW, not even food would be required).
