I don’t like pizza, but there’s one exception: Giordano’s.
Giordano’s deep dish seafood and spinach pizza...now THAT is an awesome pizza!
NY style? You might as well eat the cardboard box. Blech.

They say you are what you eat, so apparently Papa John’s does not serve “miserable old ba$tard”.... (stole it from a sitcom).

1990s Papa Johns pizza was awesome. I agree. The first few times I ate PJ's Pizza was in Jonesboro, Arkansas, back in 1994. I was doing some consulting for a client, staying in a motel for a week, and ordering pizza for dinner. The room had a fridge, so I could keep the leftover pizza cool until the next evening. So, I'd order a large enough pizza to last for two dinners.
Then, a few years later, a Papa Johns opened up here, and I eagerly ordered. YUCK! What happened to their recipe?

It seemed that they changed the tomato sauce in the mid-90’s and (IMO) made it sickly sweet.

Oh! I like pizza I just don't like the chain pizza's
Now nothing beats a NY pizza made in Bay Ridge Brooklyn...but I do admit I also like Chicago style deep dish....

Papa Johns leaves me on the toilet making poo soup for two days, so I can’t say I blame him.

“1990s Papa Johns pizza was awesome.”
Absolutely. I would often drive to the next town over about 40 mins. away just to get a large pepperoni. This was back when they used to make them with the pepperonis inside the cheese rather than on top.
Also, the sauce was slightly better tasting, as was the crust. Then again, everything tastes better in retrospect for some reason.
But also, the prices back then were very reasonable. In college we used to get large one-toppings for $5.99. Now a large one topping is $12, and that’s if you pick it up. Almost $20 if it’s delivered (delivery fee + tip)... ridiculous.

deep dish seafood and spinach pizza
I dare say, if it has seafood and spinach on it, it no longer qualifies as pizza, but merely a pizza-esque abomination.

Harry Reid is the most senior phoney in DC. He has no redeeming qualities whatever. Besides, how did that spam mail get on a gumment Crackberry anyway? Using it for personal use, eh Har?

High-fructose corn syrup. It’s everywhere and is responsible for the obesity epidemic. Order Pizza Hut. They don’t use it.

I wont buy any of the chain store pizza.
The only pizza I will buy is from Andy's pizza in Jackson, MI.
Real Sicilian pizza baked in brick ovens. A large with everything will weigh close to 5# !

Purchase a pizza for a quarter? I dont like pizza, and I especially dont like Papa Johns Pizza! Yep. Somthing broken about that guy. Or perhaps "it" was never there. A reasonably decent pizza for a quarter, sure, rag all over that.
What a dullard.

Good call but since I moved away (Albion), I’m hooked on Giordano’s.

Oh, you can get the regular pepperoni/mushroom/pepper style pizza at Giordano’s too, but I don’t like pizza. So that “abomination” suits me perfectly. ;-)

His dislike of pizza is unforgiveable, but Papa John’s pizza sucks.
