These are the folks who claim all the other years since 1999 have been among the top 8 (except for 1937 which is still the hottest).

What they are saying is that 2008 is the COLDEST YEAR since the initiation of full satellite measurement of Earth's temperature.

It's getting colder and NASA can't quite say it ~ but we can ~ IT'S GETTING COLDER.

NOTE: You have to recall that Hansen DROPPED all the measurements in Africa and South America when he was pressed to the wall on the question of their "quality" ~ which was non-existent.

He said "Well, you know this will make things seem even warmer".

What he missed in doing that was the cool, dry period in the Southern Hemisphere that resultedin a world shortage of wheat and other grains.

To save face Hansen was willing to ignore the sort of weather that drives FAMINE.
