We do so by finding conservative candidates to run against House and Senate members who are too friendly with the Obama Administration. We form a national platform with national fundraising and we make sure there is pressure from the Right in primaries.

We’ve been running candidates from the grassroots up for some time. If you’ll recall, the class of ‘94 congressional elects went nowhere. The pubbie powerstructure didn’t seem to care for the upstarts. Concerning the platform, well, that’s just playdough as far as the RNC is concerned - witness the ‘global warming’ crap inserted at the national level just for the Manchurian Candidate McCain.
As somebody that has worked in Republican campaigns since 1973, I’d say that your formula for success needs a few revisions somewhere along the line.
