If you have a masters in theology, then I would assume you know that it is not possible to judge the Christianity of another. Chrisitianity is the belief in Jesus, the Son of God, and the savior of human kind. There is no way to judge what is in the heart of another. Maybe he doesn’t act like a Christian, but that is all we really know.
The original text is often misquoted as an excuse for anything and everything. “Do not judge ,so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.” (MT. 7:1-2) This refers to deciding who goes to Hell, and who goes to Heaven—God’s prerogative. Verse 6 makes it clearer: “Do not give what is holy to dogs....” indicating a need to discern (judge) what is holy and what is not. Mt.7:19-20 makes obvious judgment of what fruit (deeds) are needed requires judgment. Someone who believes the murder of unborn children is a matter of choice bears rotten fruit. (Not a Christian in his/her heart.)
