As a Angelino native I must say that living in northeast Florida the thing I miss the most is In ‘n Out” They always have had the best burgers and I am 61 years old and the first one I remmember was on Franciscito road on our way to my grandparents house in La Puente.
Actually I don’t care for Rick Warren’s current theological direction. But I do wish him well.I would sooner discuss burgers.LOL!

The family that ownes In-N-Out are Christians. They always made a point to say Merry Christmas! and have scripture printed on their fry package's! They make the best fries in the world!

Me too but sadly I no longer can. We used to have this place in Redmond (WA) called the Workshop Tavern. Soon after I took a job here, my co-workers introduced me to the tradition of Friday burgers and beer at the Workshop. You had no options (there was a sign posted: "This isn't Burger King; you get it our way or you don't get the d*mned thing" or something like that). The Workshop had been around just about forever, as attested by the amount of grease that had soaked into the woodwork -- and we always worried that someday it might catch fire. Fortunately it never did... but "progress" finally caught up with it last year and it was torn down. *\:-(

All we have now are burger chains. *\:-(

We lived in Rowland Heights when the kids were little, now in Tn. A few years ago they left their grandmother's funeral early so that they could get an In ‘n Out” and not miss the plane.
