Please. This was an individual’s choice, not the state’s. I’d make the same decision.

Without government brainwashing, I think she’d have made a different choice. In the past, a few people committed suicide under these circumstances, but not with the support of friends, family and country.

Thank You! Those who haven’t seen what this disease is have no clue about what they would do.

The right to life is God-given and therefore UNALIENABLE.

The word unalienable has its roots in European property law, and it means that not only can’t something be rightfully taken from you, you have no right to give it away. It belongs to the Sovereign, you see.

At least that is what Americans believe to be part of the basis of our liberty.

Americans who haven’t utterly abandoned the basis for our free republic, anyhow.

This was an individual’s choice, not the state’s.

Only if the individual believes that they are God.

I’d make the same decision.

That is very sad.

State first duty is to preserve life of its citizens else it's committing suicide itself.

People are free to do what they wish and to answer for the consequences, but the state isn't to remove legal barriers to all (or any) destructive behavior -- else their's no purpose for state.

It’s a little like those poor people on 9/11 who jumped rather than allowing themselves to be burned alive. We don’t condemn them and it’s hard to condemn this poor lady.

If Mum was an MD wonder why Mum didn’t mix up her own potion and just stay home to take it.

It seems strange she’d fly all the way to Switzerland to die in agony, even short lived.

I think the Hemlock Society has ingredients listed.

It is a very small step from optional to mandatory. You need to keep that in mind.
