Praying that you find something that delights your heart this day ...
Our Loving Savior, we Thank You for Your Hand of Mercy and Grace upon Soothsayer. We ask that Your Presence will Fill and Refresh his heart. O You Who Gave Your Life for Sooth, please surround him with Your Comforting Love. Send to him those who will Bring him Encouragement and Hope. We Commit him to our Caring God, Who Poured Out His Life for Sooth's Soul. Help him to Know he is Infinitely Valuable to Thee. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of Heaven's King, amen.
'How Precious it is, Lord, to Realize that You are Thinking about me Constantly.
I can't even Count how many Times a Day Your Thoughts turn towards me.
And when I Awaken in the Morning, You are still Thinking of me.' (Ps.139:17,18)
'You have seen me Tossing and Turning through the Night.
You have Collected all my Tears and Preserved them in Your Bottle.
You have Recorded Every One in Your Book.' (Ps.56:8)
'Then they that Loved the LORD spoke often of Him to each other,
And He had a Book of Remembrance Drawn Up
In which He Recorded the Names of those who Reverenced Him,
And Loved to Think about Him.
"They shall be Mine," says the Lord of Hosts,
"In that Day when I Make Up My Jewels."' (Malachi3:17)

A few lines from “Good Morning, Lord” by Grace Easley ~
“The darkness fades, as darkness will,
And so my heart is light,
For You await to share my day
Who watched me through the night.”

The problem is, it is not your life. It is God’s and he will decide when to bring the curtain down. What blessings did she and others miss by bringing her life to a close early? Did she miss a chance at salvation? We will never know, but unfortunately for her, she knows all too clearly now.
Stopping antibiotics and letting a patient die a natural death is quite different from actively taking a life. If I am so debilitated I cannot make my own decisions, I no longer wish for intervention to prolong life. That is quite different from actively ending life.
I also don’t believe in starving or dehydrating someone to death. But I do think it is OK to not artificially feed someone. Feeding through a feeding tube and feeding with a spoon are two different things. I would never deny someone the right to feed or provide water to someone, but forcing it through a feeding tube just because we can is something else.
Hi :)
Managing ok today.
If I may make a humble suggestion, try getting a copy of C S Lewis’ Mere Christianity. It may distract you further and give you a hope and a purpose.
Blessings.
I don't know the book MomMD has recommended, but I'm always good for hope and a promise ... how about you?
Back when I finish some kitchen chores ... can I offer you some fresh biscuits? Piece of shortcake? Partridge in a pear tree?

It's Good to See you, Soothe! I'm Glad Today was a Better Day. It won't be Long before Spring is Here, and then Beautiful Flowers and Wonderful Weather will be a Blessing to us All. Sending FRiendship Hugs Across the Miles!
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for thou, Lord, only makest me to dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8
Are those buttermilk biscuits?
I found something wonderful at the grocery store. A tub of ready made Nestle toll house cookie dough. I’ve used the tubes that you cut into slices, and the kind that’s separated into cubes. Neither of those was satisfactory. The cookies just aren’t as good. The tub of dough works out better. You scoop out the amount of dough you like. If you have a toaster oven, it’s even more convenient. I usually bake six cookies at a time. So easy, and they taste so good. They’re almost as good as when I make them from scratch, but they’re easy enough to have more often.
Thank you, Dearest Pegita, and Soothe, you are in our Thoughts and Prayers. May the Weekend Bring you Blessing, Refreshment, and Wonderful Days.
I haven’t Tried those, BykrBayb. Thank you; they Sound Really Good.
Looks like BykrBayb is throwing a party, Soothe ... come on over and sample some of this fresh-baked stuff. Kitty can be the greeter and I can supervise ... sounds like a plan!
