I was shocked when they showed the clips of Fey doing her impersonation of Sarah... I thought they took SNl off the air years ago. I dont know anyone who watches it.

To the left everything is political... and every outlet and platform is only a vehicle to further their leftist agenda.

It must be terrible to be so rich and so famous . . . and so insecure.

You described many performers/entertainers in a nutshell. Friends of mine in performing arts who were the most ambitious were also the most insecure.

Not saying that this holds 100%, but it seems the insecurity drove them to perform in front of a crowd to receive affirmation.

What I can do without is the -- too often -- dripping condescension.

Why are they “Haters” just because they don’t like Tina Fey? From her caustic remarks, it appears SHE is the Hater!

Yes, but they put their attitudes right out in public.

Oh. You say so does Tina Fey?

Touche. Tina then wins the Haters award.

She talked about writing the “Colonel Angus” skit and how she tried to explain it to her family. I loved it but know that if it wasn’t for Christopher Walken the bit would have probably fallen flat.

I haven’t watched the show since John Belushi left.

Third Rock from the Sun was way better than Thirty Rock.
NBC has been struggling with it’s comedies since Frasier ended...

“The Office” is, imho, worthless. All you see is a bunch of people at work and all this angst.

I still chuckle at “Earl”. Randy, his brother... gotta luv him!

I’ve always viewed the Golden Globe awards as the consolation prizes.

The Golden Globes come before the Oscars and the people nominated who get Golden Globes are, in many cases, expected to also get the corresponding award at the Oscars. If a Golden Globe winner doesn’t get an Oscar, then that person should still be happy with the consolation award. Methinks that the Golden Globes were set up as consolation prizes for the Oscar losers. If the winner of the Oscar also won the Golden Globe, it’s pretty obvious that the winner will most likely be talking about the Oscar and not the Golden Globe.
