“No one exactly likes George W. Bush.”

FALSE PREMISE!! According to FOX News polling data of just a few days ago .. the general concensus was that people really liked GW and thought he was a really nice guy. It was just a few of his policies that people didn’t like - but not him as a person.

And .. counter to what dems have always said, more than 76% of repubs gave Bush a favorable personal rating. But .. since Bubba ended up with only a 25% personal approval rating .. the dems have to take Bush below that .. I think it’s a law or something .. LOL!!

Rosa Brooks is the daughter of Barbara Ehrenreich, a prominent feminist who is also a big Obama supporter. I know very little about Ms. Brooks, and what her academic qualifications are or were when she went to Harvard as an undergraduate and later went to Yale Law School. However, she fits a very common phenotype of Ivy League graduates: Privileged or alternative background, encouraged to think that they are special and that the world needs them to save it, and thus by definition somewhat closed-minded and self-indulgent. Ironic, because it runs quite contrary to the view many of these people have of themselves as anti-elitist crusaders for the people.

It's also, in my opinion, unfortunate that an Ivy pedigree is a ticket to a soapbox. There are smart people at Yale and Harvard, there are smart people at state schools, and there are smart people who never went to or never finished college. Their opinions are just as valid and important as those of Ms. Brooks, but they seldom have the soapbox. And, if they ever do, they are often excoriated (e.g. ‘Joe the Plumber’ and Sarah Palin). All in all, to me this points again to the ironic close-mindedness of those who are too often identified as the intellectual elite.

MSM is in full lying mode. Heard on radio today that economy sucked for last 8 yrs. That under Clinton there was a surplus, even if there was just means that taxes were too high. Not that I believe there was surplus.
MSM is spinning for 0 so much, it is all I can do to listen for weather and traffic anymore.

Just another neo-fascist anti-semitic baby-killer writer for the Washington Post.

Those people are so tiresome, an they'd like for us to think they're dangerous as well.

What they are is pathetic. If it weren't for their overuse of prescription and otherwise drugs we might have to do something about them.

That's so typical of Baltimore. Their mayor is under indictment. Most the people who live there full time should also be indicted.

They imagine Obama will lead them to the ovens last.

I think Bush is going to be like that science or English teacher you had years ago. Every day in that teacher’s class was a little bit of hell. You even considered murder a couple of times. But now, years later, you realize just how valuable that teacher was in your education. You remember things from that class and can’t recall anything from any other classes during that time of your life.

Every school has at least one of them. For H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, FL, it was Mr. Robinson. Everyone dreaded his biology class, but then years and years later when he died over a thousand of his former students showed up at his funeral.

There are some who will never, ever understand how much we owe George Bush for this eight years at the helm, but there a whole lot more who suffer from BDS right now who will miss him dearly when they have a chance to compare him with the Obamagasm.

I was just listening to the replay of Baltimore, and I had to chuckle. PEBO was reciting all the problems left to him by the evil Bush, and he had to mention, "...a planet which is warming, although you can't tell it..."

Spoken to a crowd of people freezing half to death. Stop that evil Bush global warming. Exorcise the evil Bush. Cripple the corporations. Kill the coal industry. Scrap those SUVs. And they lapped it up. If I could but touch the hem of your garment, messiah PEBO!

The survivors that are struggling to live in the ruins of where they live after the next terrorist attack will miss him.

I don’t the American masses will miss GWB. They will still be too infatuated with Oprah’s Choice to remember GWB, who leaves office a failure like most of the American presidents.

Just not credible. GWB is Injustice-in-chief! Ask the Ramos and Compean families.

You are never going to find someone who meets each and everyone of your expectations. I agree, he’s a royal POS for his handling of those two men, not to mention a dozen other things he’s done or not done. It will just be up to each person to decide for themselves.

I cannot wait for Bush to get off the world stage. He single handedly got Obama elected and destroyed the Republican party for decades. He left office with two wars still going on with no ending insight and the economy in the tank.Good riddance Bush.
