Letourneau University here in town was rated one of the top engineering schools in the country (top 3 I believe) and is very Conservative.
Wow, that is impressive. Since Letourneau is one of the three best engineering schools in the country it must be even better than all but two of these schools.
MIT
Stanford
UC Berkeley
Michigan
Cornell
UT Austin
Carnegie Mellon
UCLA
Texas A&M
Princeton
Harvard
Rice
So, what is your source that states that Letourneau has a better engineering program than all but two of the above listed schools?
It's a solid undergraduate program. There are hundreds of similar 2nd / 3rd tier engineering programs across the country.
"Top Three"? Puleeeeeeez, it won't even rank top three within 100 miles radius of Houston - Rice, A&M, UH all easily beat it, even Lamar probably has a better engineering program.
