Again and again this a-hole is finding out that things are the way they are for some good reasons. It didn't all just happen by chance. But then liberals are always surprised by reality. They think the world began the day they began to pay attention.

You said — “Again and again this a-hole is finding out that things are the way they are for some good reasons. It didn’t all just happen by chance. But then liberals are always surprised by reality. They think the world began the day they began to pay attention.”

That’s sorta good news, actually. “Being President” does bring a sense of “reality” to the situation and what things were said in the campaign are found to be not workable in real life. So, if Obama is finding this out, so much the better.

Another thing that I thought would be applicable, too — in terms of what Obama said he wanted to so — was that the really serious problems that we’re having with the economy will sidetrack Obama from many of the other things he was talking about, in order to concentrate on the economy. So, it could turn out that the bad economy is a blessing for conservatives, in serving to limit the abilities of Obama to do all that he might have wanted to do (that conservatives wouldn’t like).

Of course, it won’t totally limit his hand and turn him into a conservative (LOL...), but it will help a little bit...
