I've never understood the whole Internet Explorer furor. I started with Windows 3.1 and always had other web browsers installed on my computers. My Windows 3.1, 95, 98 and XP computers always had/have at least 5 or 6 different web browsers installed, and I just use the one I like the best and ignore the rest unless I find a web site that requires the Microsoft product to display properly.
All my Linux installations have at least 4 or 5 different browsers installed, for the same reasons. I try out different browsers on Windows and Linux boxes and use the ones I like and ignore the rest.
Or is that too simple-minded for some folks?

I've never understood the whole Internet Explorer furor.I agree. It's sort of like the FTC demanding that automakers not be allowed to install car stereos in new automobiles, because of unfair competition - But then it never seemed to hurt the business of Alpine, Blapunkt, Pioneer, Dennon, Kenwood, etc...
It's more about sour grapes AND the opportunity to throw their weight around against the 800 pound gorilla (Microsoft).
