To you even have the slightest clue what gravitation time dilation is?

Don’t tell me...

They told you about Trigonometry at day care today?

==So, you believe that out of one sort of equine, horses and donkeys evolved?

Nope, the capacity to change and adapt within the confines of what constitutes a biblical “kind” was built right into their genomes (and epigenomes).

There is a lot we dont't know.

New Cosmic Background Radiation Found

"We really don't know what it is, but it's not the combined emission of radio galaxies in the universe, there simply aren't enough of them," says team member Michael Seiffert (NASA/ Jet Propulsion Laboratory). "You start out on a path to measure something — in this case, the heat from the very first stars — but run into something else entirely, something unexplained."

One could also hypothesize that Satan has mucked about, moving stars hither and yon, altering the speed of light, fabricating fossils and planting them in the ground, so as to give credibility to an old universe and evolution, and break fundamentalism (in the sense of literalism). This hypothesis is likewise impossible to disprove, and more entertaining into the bargain.

To you even have the slightest clue what gravitation time dilation is?

Yes. It is the effect of gravity on time, i.e., time is not a constant. It's the first thing I learned in 8th grade science. What does that have to do with starlight passing through the universe? Light is a constant.

Interesting points. But that’s not what they are talking about. Dr. Humphreys, Dr. Hartnett, and a number of other YEC cosmologists have demonstrated how it is possible for the earth to be thousands of years old, and the universe billions of years old, and yet be the product of the same creation event.

"It is possible that the EARTH was ‘created’ 6000,10000, or 20 million years ago, but the UNIVERSE was ‘created’ first."

Not so. It all expanded away from Earth.

Has anybody thought of the possibility that the bibilical measure of days was done for what passes for intellignt life - past and present - on this insignificant rock orbiting a puny star in the armpit of the universe?

Man’s stupidity is only exceeded by his arrogance. Or vice versa.

Then you must make the same argument about Big Bang cosmology.

Because the stars are just painted on the inside of the giant balloon we all live in.

Makes as much sense as your theory.

maybe because they are closer than 6000 light years away?

not if you actually want to trust it, it isnt

OK, let's trust the bible as the literal word of God: So, who is Marys husbands father? Luke 3:23 says it is Heli. Matt 1:16 says it was Jacob. Only one can be the literal truth. The other is incorrect. (Or both are incorrect).

Mark 6:8,9 says he sent the disciples forth with only staff and sandals. Matthew 10:10 specifically says no staff and no sandals. Which one is literally correct? They can't both be.

I could list another 10-20 contradictions. They can't all be literally correct. That's ok with me, doesn't shatter my faith, it actually makes it stronger that I can believe in Jesus without believing in things that are silly, like dinosaurs on the ark, or that everything in the bible is correct, even when it contradicts itself.

So you think that the theory which places man as the highest life-form and intelligence in the Universe isn’t arrogant? A recognition of God and His wonderous creation is actually an expression of humility, not arrogance.

There is simply no way to fit two of every kind into a space that big, plus food and excrement as it piles up.

The ark had 3 levels, each one being 300 cubits by 50 cubits. Now, what's a cubit?

According to Websters, a sacred cubit is 21.888 inches. By my calculation, the surface area available would have been just shy of 2 acres.
