Yes. It is the effect of gravity on time, i.e., time is not a constant. It's the first thing I learned in 8th grade science. What does that have to do with starlight passing through the universe? Light is a constant.

Dr. Humphreys, Dr. Hartnett, and a number of other YEC cosmologists have demonstrated how it is possible for the earth to be thousands of years old, and the universe billions of years old, and yet be the product of the same creation event.

OK, let's trust the bible as the literal word of God: So, who is Marys husbands father? Luke 3:23 says it is Heli. Matt 1:16 says it was Jacob. Only one can be the literal truth. The other is incorrect. (Or both are incorrect).
Mark 6:8,9 says he sent the disciples forth with only staff and sandals. Matthew 10:10 specifically says no staff and no sandals. Which one is literally correct? They can't both be.
I could list another 10-20 contradictions. They can't all be literally correct. That's ok with me, doesn't shatter my faith, it actually makes it stronger that I can believe in Jesus without believing in things that are silly, like dinosaurs on the ark, or that everything in the bible is correct, even when it contradicts itself.
