Exactly! People somehow want to believe that “change” is always for the better.
No doubt the German people believed this in the early 1930s. Probably the Russians in 1917. Look what "change" got them.
But, you know, at least Hitler made the trains run on time, and Lenin had the Romanovs killed. That was "change" everyone could believe in, too (except the millions who died at the hands of "change").
