When Obamanation and his minions introduce FOCA and pass it, the discussion may well be moot. The republicans, however frustrating, were the only road block to this. Once FOCA is in place, abortion becomes an entitlement like Social Security, rolling it back is a bigger rock to push up hill than Roe V wade, and all the gains on the state levels will be destroyed.

If the GOP were a real road block, we wouldn’t be where we are in the first place. The moment a vote block, like the Religious Right, becomes a GOP plantation, it loses leverage.

I am sure something similar happens with some groups on the Left.

I blame the two party system.
